Sometimes a Surprise
After the hectic weekend of guests and grandchildren, we decided a woodland walk was in order to calm our spirits and return our pace back to something more rhythmic and less jazzy. We discovered a new state park nearby that warrants a return visit. It seemed that the time of fungus is upon us.

ReplyDeleteRecently I had a yellow mushroom come up in a newly potted plant. Totally new to me, but upon researching it, found that it is not uncommon at all. The plant was in a pot I had found at a property we had just bought. I'm thinking the spores must have been in the pot because the soil mixture had been used for other plants and no mushrooms there.
